Heroes' Square

Walk along Andrassy Avenue until you reach the magnificent Heroes' Square! One of Budapest's iconic landmarks is just a 5⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠-⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠minute walk from the hotel.

The whole area is dominated by the Millennium Monument and its distinctive colonnade, which consists of 14 statues of important figures in Hungarian history. When you are done taking photos, head to the nearby Museum of Fine Arts or take a stroll in the City Park.

City Park

Fancy escaping the hustle and bustle of the big city for a while? Have a snack at a kiosk, and catch some rays from a bench on the lakeside. And perhaps even treat yourself to a morning jog while on vacation.

The Városliget City Park is the ideal starting point for visiting popular nearby sites such as the Szechényi Thermal Baths or Budapest Zoo. It is a pleasant 10⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠-⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠minute walk from the Hotel Andrassy.

From our hotel, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the ornamental gates of one of the oldest zoos in the world.

St. Stephen's Basilica

Order a coffee under the awning of one of the nearby cafés and revel in the view of one of the symbols of Budapest. The 19th⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠-⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠century Roman Catholic St. Stephen's Basilica dominates Szent István tér square. A pleasant walk there from the hotel, through the city centre, will take you about 20 minutes.
